<h2>Travel RN – Labor &amp; Delivery / Maternal Child Health</h2><h3>Assignment Highlights</h3><ul><li><strong>Specialty:</strong> Labor &amp; Delivery / Maternal Child Health</li><li><strong>Guaranteed Hours:</strong> 48 hours available upon request</li><li><strong>Weekend Requirement:</strong> Every 3rd weekend</li><li><strong>Block Scheduling:</strong> Available upon request</li><li><strong>License:</strong> Current New Mexico RN license or Compact/Multi-State license</li></ul><h3>Clinical Areas</h3><p>This RN will provide care across:</p><ul><li>Labor &amp; Delivery</li><li>Mother-Baby</li><li>Newborn Nursery</li><li>Level II Nursery</li><li>GYN patients</li></ul><p>Floating to other hospital departments may be required based on hospital needs and within scope of practice.</p><h3>Required Experience</h3><ul><li><strong>3 years Labor &amp; Delivery experience</strong></li><li><strong>3 years Nursery experience</strong></li><li><strong>3 years Med-Surg experience</strong></li></ul><h3>Required Certifications</h3><ul><li><strong>BLS – AHA</strong></li><li><strong>ACLS – AHA</strong></li><li><strong>NRP</strong></li><li><strong>AWHONN Fetal Monitoring</strong></li></ul><h3>Preferred</h3><ul><li>STABLE</li><li>ALSO certification</li><li>Baby-Friendly experience</li><li>Meditech or comparable EMR experience</li></ul><h3>What They’re Looking For</h3><p>Strong Maternal Child Health RNs who are comfortable managing patients throughout the labor, delivery, postpartum, newborn, and Level II nursery continuum while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team.</p>
