Travel RN – Cath Lab

Michigan City, Indiana | Days | 40 Hours/Week

Join the Cath Lab team at Franciscan Health Michigan City in a 1:1 procedural care environment supporting cardiology, vascular, and interventional radiology cases.

Assignment Details

Specialty: Cath Lab RN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Typical Shift: 4 x 9-hour shifts with 1 rotating day off
Rotating Start Times: 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM
Call: Approximately 8–10 call shifts per 4-week schedule
Weekend Requirement: Weekend call
Floating: None
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Labs: 2 Cath Labs
EMR: Epic Cupid

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
Sedation competency
Circulating competency
Must successfully complete the required EKG test

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS

Preferred

Recording competency
Epic Cupid experience

Equipment

Experience may include:

Philips Xper
Intra-aortic balloon pump
Impella

Patient Population / Procedures

The unit supports:

Cardiology
Vascular procedures
Interventional Radiology

Ideal Candidate
