Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Needham Heights, MA 02494. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

  • Location: Needham Heights, MA 02494
  • Job Type: 3+ months (Possibility of extension or conversion )
  • Schedule: - 3:25pm-11:55pm Mon - Fri
  • Pay Range: $46/hr - $50/hr on W2

Specific Duties:

  • Perform moderate- and high-complexity laboratory testing on patient specimens.
  • Analyze blood, urine, body fluids, and other samples to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments.
  • Review, interpret, and accurately document test results in the laboratory information system.
  • Perform quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Maintain CAP, quality, and laboratory regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to deliver timely and accurate patient testing.

Must have qualifications/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related chemical or physical science from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to perform moderate- and high-complexity clinical laboratory testing.
  • Experience operating laboratory instrumentation and performing quality control.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with laboratory information systems and standard computer applications.
  • Two years of laboratory experience.
  • ASCP Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) certification strongly preferred.
