Essential:
* Bachelor Degree - • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (if RD credential acquired before
01/01/2024) or Master’s Degree (if RD credential acquired after 01/01/2024) satisfying the
requirements of a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) or Foreign Dietitian Education Program as
approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) required •
Completion of a Dietetic Internship (or individualized supervised practice program, coordinated
program, or foreign equivalent) approved by ACEND required
Credentials
Essential:
* Registered Dietitian - Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
(CDR) for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics within 6 months of hire.
* Licensed Dietitian - Due within six (6) months of hire

Experience:
• Experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care hospital or facility preferred
• Experience providing, managing, coordinating or supervising patient nutrition care in an outpatient facility, and/or with bariatric patients preferred
Special knowledge, skills, &abilities:
• Able to demonstrate understanding of current medical nutrition therapy standards for a variety of patient populations.
• Displays excellent customer services skills through creative problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to understand and use all clinical forms, clinical reference materials, and follow departmental policies and pathways.
• Must be able to work efficiently and responsibly in an environment with multiple work demands and short time frames.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
