Registered Nurse (RN) – Corrections

Location: Brooktondale, NY
Contract: 26 weeks
Shift: 10-hour day shifts

Job Description

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 26-week contract assignment at a secure juvenile residential facility serving male adolescents.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care, assessments, medication administration, and treatment.
Monitor patient conditions and respond to medical needs.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with healthcare and facility staff.
Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

Requirements:

Active RN license.
Previous nursing experience preferred; corrections, behavioral health, pediatric, or adolescent experience is a plus.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a secure, structured environment.

Additional Details:

Supervision staff will be present during patient care.
No current vaccine requirements.
