Requirements & Qualifications

• BLS certification – Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience – Required
• Travel experience – Not required for highly experienced candidates; preferred
• Minimum 6 weekend shifts per schedule period
• CST certification – Highly preferred
• Epic experience – Preferred
• Shift: Night, 3×12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Gynecology Skills

• Gynecological procedures
• Abdominal Hysterectomy – Preferred
• Bilateral Tubal Ligation
• C-Sections
• Cervical Cerclage – Preferred
• Dilation & Curettage (D&C)
• Vaginal Delivery – Preferred
• Vaginal Hysterectomy – Preferred

Professional Knowledge & Skills

• Aseptic Technique
• Isolation Precautions / PPE
• Sharps Safety

Equipment, Instrumentation & Supplies

• Case Cart
• Cell Saver
• Crash Cart
• High-Level Disinfectant (HLD)
• Sterile Processing
• Decontamination and sterilization processes and indicators
• Preparation of hard instrument containers
• Sets/Trays Assembly – Preferred

Certifications

• BLS – Required
• CST – Preferred

Additional Details
