Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds -19 bed unit

· Number of Staff – 25 employees

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – 1 Charge and 3 to 4 RN’s.

o Night Shift - 1 Charge and 3 to 4 RN’s.

· Patient Ratios – Critical1:1, Neonatal 1 nurse-2 pts, Intermediate 1 Nurse-3 pts.

· Type of equipment – Ventilator, Jet Ventilator, Nitric Oxide Ventilator

· EMR – CPN ((Centricity Perinatal system)& Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Able to Admit new patients to unit.

· Work with different types of ventilators

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Experience with different types of ventilators

· Experience with Infection Prevetion

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Able to start Peripheral intravenous lines

· Central line maintenance and changing lines.

· Willing to work and MUST be a team player

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· BLS, NRP within 6 months of hire. STABLE is encouraged.
