<h2>Travel RN – Acute Team / ER Float (Discreet Location)<br /> </h2><h3>Contract Details</h3><ul><li><strong>Location:</strong> Near Smith Center, KS <i>(Critical Access Hospital)</i></li><li><strong>Shift:</strong> 12-hour Nights (3x12s)</li><li><strong>Guaranteed Hours:</strong> 36 Hours/Week</li><li><strong>Assignment Length:</strong> 13 weeks</li></ul><h3>Role &amp; Clinical Scope</h3><ul><li><strong>Practice Model:</strong> Functions as an Acute Team RN providing inpatient care while floating dynamically to the Emergency Room whenever ER coverage or surge support is required.</li><li><strong>Versatility Needed:</strong> Must be able to seamlessly pivot between general acute medical care and emergency triage/resuscitation in a rural hospital setting.</li></ul><h3>Requirements &amp; Licensure</h3><ul><li><strong>Licensure:</strong> Active Kansas (KS) or multi-state Compact RN license required.</li><li><strong>Certifications:</strong> Full ER suite (AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC).</li></ul><h3> </h3><h3>🚨 CRITICAL Experience &amp; Certification Requirements</h3><ul><li><strong>Work History Stability (Strict):</strong> Candidate must meet one of the following experience benchmarks:<ul><li>Minimum <strong>2 years of staff experience at a single facility</strong> OR</li><li>Minimum <strong>3 years of consistent travel experience</strong> if they have been a career traveler.</li></ul></li><li><strong>ER Certifications Required:</strong> Must be fully certified across all standard ER credentials at submission:<ul><li>AHA BLS</li><li>AHA ACLS</li><li>AHA PALS (or ENPC)</li><li>TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)</li></ul></li><li><strong>Leadership Background:</strong> Prior <strong>Charge Nurse experience</strong> is strongly preferred / ideal.</li></ul>
