🏥 Travel RN – Days

Position: Registered Nurse
Shift: Days – 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified in posting
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP
 

📋 Required Experience & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license OR Compact RN license
• Current clinical knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population
• Must be flexible with changes in work environment/schedule
• May be required to float to other units and obtain additional certifications based on the assigned unit

🎓 Required Certifications

• BLS – AHA – REQUIRED
• ACLS – AHA – REQUIRED
• PALS – REQUIRED
• TNCC – REQUIRED
• NIH Certification – REQUIRED
• CPI/De-escalation (CPIDE) – REQUIRED

🕐 Schedule

• 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Day shift
• Full-time
• ASAP start

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
• Administer and document appropriate nursing interventions
• Perform Point-of-Care testing
• Coordinate patient-care assignments
• Delegate and follow up on nursing care tasks
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team
• Support orientation of new staff/students
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and quality standards
