Description
- Shift: 36 or 48 hrs/week; nights
- Schedule: Every other weekend; block scheduling not guaranteed
- Orientation: Must be available for the first 2 weeks
- Floating: May float to other Med/Surg units based on need
- Ratio: 1:5–6 nights; may flex to 8 with LPN support
- Experience: Minimum 1 year Med/Surg required; 2 years preferred
- License: Michigan RN license required (pending accepted with ETA)
- Certifications: BLS (AHA) required; pending accepted if willing to obtain
- Holiday Coverage: Required; holiday RTO must remain flexible
- Local Travelers: 50 miles or less receive local rate
- Unit: 37-bed Medical/Surgical/Oncology unit
- Patient Population: General medical, GI, urology, gynecology, ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical patients
- Team: Works with RNs, LPNs, and Techs
