Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist – PET/CT

Join a supportive healthcare team in Columbus, Ohio, where you’ll perform essential nuclear medicine procedures with a primary focus on PET/CT imaging. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact through high-quality, compassionate patient care.

You’ll work with a diverse range of patient cases while collaborating with a dedicated team in a welcoming environment. Although the schedule is primarily weekdays, flexibility is required for occasional evening and weekend shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist looking to advance their career while enjoying all that Columbus has to offer.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine procedures safely and accurately.
  • Provide compassionate, professional patient care throughout each examination.
  • Perform IV starts and administer procedures according to established protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Utilize PACS for image management and documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT or NMTCB certification
  • BLS certification
  • Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine
  • Experience with IV starts and PACS
  • Active state license required
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work occasional evening and weekend shifts
