Description
Registered Nurse: Labor and Delivery
Locations: Nampa, ID
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour
Ratios: Postpartum is 1:3 couplets care. Triage 1:3, if get up to 4pts will utilize Resource nurse
Years of experience Req: 3 Years
Certs Req: NPR, BLS, ACLS & STABLE
Special Notes:
Childbearing women and newborn:
Must have experience and be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, Circulate C/S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care.
Must have experience with magnesium.
Resource nurse will help with breaks, attends all deliveries "baby catcher"-must be able to stabilize, do physical assessment and cares within the first 2 hours, and is a 2nd sign off on meds
