o Day Shift – 2 speech therapists
o Night Shift – NA
· Patient Ratios – 1:8/10
· Type of equipment – MBS Suite; Vital Stim; IOPI; EMST150; Bioness BITs
· EMR – Yes
Hiring Profile
Must have:
· VA License/CCCs
· Experience with Adult Population/Medical
Preferred or nice to have:
· Neuro Experience
· Inpatient rehab experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Evaluate and treat multiple diagnoses – swallowing and speech language
· MBS Studies
Best personality Fit:
· Patient Focused, Team oriented, Flexible
Floating Area(s):
· Acute Hospital potentially
Dress Code:
· Scrub Color/Attire – Black scrub bottoms; royal blue scrub top preferred but other colors accepted
Weekends and On call:
· Assist with rotating weekends usually one shift per month
