Occupational Therapist (OT) – Job Requirements

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Setting: Home Health experience preferred but not required
Additional: Mileage reimbursement is provided in addition to the base rate.

Job Description

• Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve patients’ physical, social, and mental functions.
• Develop and implement treatment activities in accordance with department objectives.
• Participate as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services while supporting overall treatment goals.

Required Education

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) – Required.
• For licenses obtained on or after January 2007, the required degree must be a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, OTD, or foreign equivalent.

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Occupational Therapy license in all applicable states of practice – Required.
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor in accordance with Adventist Health (AH) policy – Required.
• Valid Driver’s License – Required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older – Required.

Candidate Must-Haves

• ✅ Master’s in Occupational Therapy or OTD
• ✅ Active applicable OT license
• ✅ Current CPR/BLS
• ✅ Valid Driver’s License
• ✅ Age 21+
• ⭐ Home Health experience preferred, but not required
• 🚗 Mileage reimbursement in addition to the base pay
