General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds – 14 labor beds, 2 OR, 6 recovery bays, 8 antepartum beds

· Number of Staff – 40

o Day Shift – 1 charge and 3-4 RN, 1-2 CST

o Night Shift - 1 charge and 3-4 RN, 1-2 CST

· Patient Ratios – 1:2 labor 1:4 antepartum

· Type of equipment – GE EFM, CPN

· EMR – Meditech/Centricity Perinatal

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· NRP

· Labor management

- Active RN license 

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Able to circulate in L&D OR

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Vaginal deliveries

· Cesarean sections

· Bilateral tubal ligations

· D&C

· Uterine tamponade devices

· Magnesium drip and titration

· Pitocin drip and titration

· BLS
