Position: RN - Intermediate Care Unit

Location: Golden, CO

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Shift: Nights 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM  (3x12 Hours)

Schedule: 3 days/week

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Local candidate accepted as well, pay for locals: $60 - $63/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and an intermediate level of care. The RN will assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient health status and changes in clinical condition.
• Provide nursing treatments and supportive care.
• Administer medications and perform delegated medical functions.
• Educate patients and families regarding health and treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment plans and patient progress.
• Refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Follow hospital, regulatory, and nursing standards.
• Float to other departments within the RN's scope of practice as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

   

Required Qualifications:

• Active Colorado or compact state.
• 1+ year of experience as a RN IMC/Stepdown/PCU.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
