Required Certifications

• RN
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS
• PALS
• ENPC
• TNCC

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Emergency Department experience required
• Triage experience highly preferred
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and emergency-care skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Provide timely nursing interventions and monitor patient responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate appropriately with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Provide safe, patient-centered care while maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with patient stabilization, treatment, and transition through the emergency care process.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, follow-up care, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Delegate appropriate tasks based on patient condition, staff competency, and applicable nursing standards.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
