Position: Registered Pharmacist
Location: Gray, GA 31032
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 45 Hours per Week

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy team in Gray, Georgia. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care, ensure safe and effective medication use, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about patient education, medication management, and community healthcare.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and pharmacy regulations.
  • Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage instructions, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
  • Maintain accurate prescription records and patient profiles while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct health screenings and administer immunizations as appropriate.
  • Participate in community health and wellness programs.
  • Monitor medication safety and support quality assurance initiatives.
  • Stay current with new medications, therapies, and pharmaceutical advancements.
  • Provide medication education and support to patients and pharmacy staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
  • Active registered pharmacist license in the applicable state.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
