Description
Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist
Assignment Details
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
- Job ID: 6740V EP Lab GMC – EP Lab Tech
Required Certifications
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist)
Special Procedures / Unit Details
The EP Lab Technologist will support specialized cardiac electrophysiology and structural heart procedures, including:
- ICD (Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator) procedures
- S-ICD (Subcutaneous ICD) procedures
- Pacemaker procedures
- Structural Heart procedures
- EP Ablation / PVI (Pulmonary Vein Isolation)
Holiday Requirements
Candidates must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
Additionally, candidates must work 1 minor holiday:
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
