Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Fort Defiance, AZ

Location: Fort Defiance, AZ
Start Date: 09/21/2026
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off
Weekly Hours: 36 hours one week / 48 hours the next
RTO: No RTOs acceptable
 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 16-week assignment in Fort Defiance, AZ. The Emergency Department includes an 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed Fast Track, and 7-bed Observation Unit. ED nurses will regularly rotate through all areas and may be assigned to different areas throughout their shift based on patient volume and department needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience; additional experience may be required depending on the candidate.
• Active RN License
• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS – American Heart Association
• PALS or ENPC
• TNCC
• Conscious Sedation Certification
• Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be willing to float to other departments when qualified.
• No RTOs acceptable.

Schedule Details:

• Primary assignment is night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Schedule is typically 7 consecutive days on followed by 7 days off.
• Shifts may change during the contract based on facility staffing needs.
• Travelers may occasionally be required to cover day shifts or float to other departments.
