Description
We have a Cardiac Device Specialist/Technician opportunity with Columbia University / Columbia - New York-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) supporting outpatient MRI operations.
Position: Cardiac Device Specialist/Technician
Location: Columbia University – MRI Uptown, New York, NY
Schedule: Full-Time / Flex Schedule / Mon-Fri
Qualifications Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Prior experience with cardiac implantable electronic devices required.
- Experience with pacemaker, ICD, CRT, and loop recorder interrogation and programming preferred.
- Experience working with major device manufacturers, including Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Biotronik preferred.
- Knowledge of MR-conditional device requirements and manufacturer-specific MRI workflows preferred.
- Experience in an electrophysiology, cardiology, device clinic, or hospital-based device program preferred.
- Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within the required onboarding period.
