LDRP / Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Sidney, MT

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) to join a busy obstetrics department at a Critical Access Hospital in Sidney, MT. The RN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to women and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
• Perform obstetric triage and Non-Stress Tests (NSTs).
• Serve as the second nurse during deliveries.
• Manage overflow patients as needed.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to complications during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the childbirth and postpartum experience.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established clinical standards.

Requirements:

• Previous Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Must be labor-trained.
• NRP Certification
• STABLE Certification
• Fetal Monitoring Certification – Intermediate or above
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
