RN – Med/Surg

Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3×12
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week available
Contract: 26 weeks available
Start: ASAP preferred
Local: Local rate applies to travelers within 50 miles; see CDM for rate

Required Experience

• Minimum 1+ year Med/Surg RN experience – REQUIRED
• 2 years Med/Surg experience – preferred
• Job profile indicates approximately 1.5 years experience
• 5–6 patient ratio experience preferred
• Med/Surg and MS/Tele experience
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Strong experience with medical, orthopedic, neurovascular, cardiac/pulmonary, and surgical patients
• Travel experience is not required
• Charge experience preferred

Required License & Certifications

• Active Michigan RN License – REQUIRED
• BLS – AHA – REQUIRED
  • Pending BLS may be accepted; candidate must confirm willingness to obtain
• NIHSS – preferred/required per skills profile
• Flu vaccination proof required at submission
  • Medical exemption may be requested within 48 hours of signing

Best candidate: RN with 1+ year Med/Surg experience (2 years preferred), active Michigan RN license, AHA BLS, strong MS/Tele experience, and ability to work nights/every other weekend and float to other Med/Surg units.
