Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour Nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• On-Call/Call-Back: N/A
• Float: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient-care areas, including the ED and general care areas. May also float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Pediatric experience required
• NICU experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Associate Degree required

Required Certifications

• BLS – AHA or ARC
• ACLS
• PALS
• Advanced NRP
• NBRC RRT or NBRC CRT accepted, but RRT must be obtained within 1 year

Equipment & Documentation

• V60 BiPAP
• Hamilton G5 and C1
• i-STAT
• EPIC documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple patient-care areas, including the ED and general care units.
• Provide respiratory support and emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations.
• Deliver respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients according to clinical needs.
• Support NICU and pediatric patients using appropriate respiratory care techniques.
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment including BiPAP and ventilators.
• Monitor patients and respond promptly to changes in respiratory status.
• Accurately document patient care and respiratory interventions in EPIC.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, patient-centered care.
• Float to other designated Central Aspirus locations when required and with advance notice.
