Job Details

• Position: OB Registered Nurse (RN)
• Facility: Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends out of 4, as needed
• Holiday: Holiday rotation required
• On-Call: No regular on-call or call-back requirement; additional shifts may be available for sick calls
• 50-Mile Radius Rule: Expired

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OB experience with Labor & Delivery experience
• 1 previous travel assignment required
• Critical Access Hospital experience highly preferred
• Wisconsin RN License
• BLS – Mandatory
• Advanced NRP – Mandatory
• AWHONN and PALS – Preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Aspirus accepts AHA or ARC certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to OB/L&D patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and related care.
• Demonstrate competency in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Provide patient-centered care while following appropriate clinical and safety standards.
• Support postpartum patients and newborn-related care as required.
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC.
• Assist with patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical tasks when floating to other departments.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe patient care.

Float Requirements

• Primary float areas include OB and L&D.
• May potentially float to Med/Surg, ER, or ICU for tasks such as:
  • Vital signs
  • Answering lights
  • Completing patient histories
