Description

UNIT:  CATH LAB RN
MANAGER InterviewS

Experience Required: 2+ years in Cath Lab AND/OR Interventional Radiology. Cardiac Cath, Angiograms, IR cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes. Administration of sedation, recovery of sedation patients, arterial access recovery. Experience in a multidisciplinary team.

Will you accept a first-time traveler? no

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS.

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Inpatient/Outpatient ED.

Support on the Unit:  RN supervisor on the floor that would oversee the traveler

Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 2 in Labor and Delivery and 1:6 Postpartum mothers.

EMR: Cerner

Floating: no.

Orientation (facility and unit): dependent on experience.

Scrub Color: Procedural, provided.

Beds: 5 Bays/1 procedure room

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: once per month
RTO Approval: Manager approval
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Yes, 1 night per week 4pm-6pm and rotating weekends
Holiday Expectations: discussed during interview
