Description
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
- Facility: McLaren Northern Michigan
- Location: Petoskey, MI
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Pay Rate: $2600 to $2800 weekly gross
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
ICU RN –Key Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and unstable patients in the ICU.
- Perform detailed head-to-toe assessments and continuously monitor patient condition.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, EKGs, and other clinical data.
- Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and respiratory support equipment.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrate critical-care infusions as ordered.
- Monitor patients receiving complex treatments such as CRRT and cardiac support therapies.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly communicate concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses.
- Provide patient and family education while maintaining a safe, supportive, and infection-controlled environment.
