OR RN – Operating Room

Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 4×10s
Start Time: 6:30 AM
Schedule: 40 hours/week with rotating day off
Contract: 13 weeks
 

Required Experience

• 24+ months of current Operating Room experience – REQUIRED
• OR circulating experience – REQUIRED
• Scrub experience – highly preferred
• General, Da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics & Trauma experience – REQUIRED
• Additional experience preferred in:
  • Neurology
  • Orthopedics/trauma
  • Gynecology
  • Urology
  • Transplants
  • Plastics
  • ENT
  • Vascular
• EPIC experience within the past 3 years – REQUIRED
• Trauma Level II experience – REQUIRED
• Trauma Level I experience – highly preferred
• Previous travel experience – REQUIRED; no first-time travelers. Must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months.

Requirements/Documents

• Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license – REQUIRED
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS – REQUIRED
• Driver's license – REQUIRED
• Discipline-specific OR skills checklist
• Resume/work history showing 24+ months current OR experience
• Professional reference/evaluation from a charge nurse, supervisor, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months – preferred.
