<h2>Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Hospice</h2><h3>Description</h3><p>Provides specialized nursing care and related services to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD), in accordance with established policies and procedures.</p><p>Participates in patient care planning and delivery while applying appropriate aseptic techniques during treatments, including sterile dressings, irrigations, and cauterizations. Provides functional direction to ancillary personnel and supports the overall coordination of patient care.</p><p>On-call responsibilities may be assigned based on location and agency operational needs. When assigned by agency leadership, the LVN is required to perform on-call duties.<br /> </p><h3>Requirements</h3><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><ul><li>Day Shift</li><li>5 × 8-hour shifts</li><li>Must be available to work <strong>3 weekdays plus weekends</strong></li><li>Recent <strong>hospice experience required</strong></li></ul><h3>Education &amp; Experience</h3><ul><li>High School Diploma/GED or equivalent: Preferred</li><li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience: Preferred</li></ul><h3>Required Licenses &amp; Certifications</h3><ul><li>Active <strong>Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)</strong> license in the state of practice: Required</li><li><strong>BLS – Healthcare Provider</strong> certification from an approved vendor: Required</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Arrhythmia Certification: Preferred</li><li>Valid Driver's License: Preferred</li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age: Preferred</li></ul>
