Description
RN – Med Surg Oncology | 12-Hour D/N or Nights
Experience: 2+ years RN experience
Oncology Experience: Preferred, but not required!
Ratio: 1:4
Charting: EPIC REQUIRED
Travel Experience: Preferred
Certifications: BCLS required
Patient Population / Unit Focus:
- Continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration
- Soft tissue malignancies requiring diagnostics, chemotherapy & symptom management
- Disease/treatment-related symptom management
- Management of comorbidities
- Strong focus on infection prevention & fall prevention
Required Skills:
- Dysrhythmia interpretation
- Port access
- Arterial line management
- Blood product administration
- Central line care & management
- PICC line management
- IV starts
- Chest tube insertion/removal assistance
- HFNC
- ABG interpretation
