Description
Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient
Description
Plans and conducts treatment programs designed to restore, improve, and maintain patients’ physical, social, and functional abilities while meeting department objectives. Participates as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care and treatment planning.
Position Requirements
Schedule
- Day Shift
- 4 × 10-hour shifts
- 6:50 AM – 5:50 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Approximately 38 patient-facing hours and 2 hours dedicated to documentation
- Regular days off may be Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday
- Outpatient caseload only
- No on-call requirement
Required Qualifications
- Oregon Physical Therapy license or eligible Compact PT license: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Required for licenses obtained on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
- Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice: Required
Experience
- Two years of Physical Therapy experience: Preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish language proficiency: Highly preferred
- Vestibular therapy certification/experience: Highly preferred
Certifications
- BLS certification from an approved vendor per facility policy: Required
