Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and obtain high-quality images for physician interpretation and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color-flow echocardiograms
• Obtain and document high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for echocardiography procedures
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Assist physicians during echocardiography procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
• Follow infection control, safety, and departmental protocols
• Properly operate and maintain echocardiography equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Echocardiography experience
• ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification preferred/required as applicable
• Experience performing adult echocardiograms
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, Doppler techniques, and ultrasound principles
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
