• Weekly Gross: $3,650
• W2:  $20/hr.
• Stipend: $2,900 Weekly

Requirements

• 2 Years of MRI Tech Experience - Required
• ARRT (MR) and BLS AHA -Required
• Licensed & Injection Certified by the State of New York

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment with a leading healthcare facility. The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate is skilled in operating CT/MRI equipment, administering contrast when appropriate, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized MRI scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for MRI procedures.
• Administer IV contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Verify patient identity, review medical history, and ensure accurate exam documentation.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS.
• Follow radiation safety (ALARA), infection control, and patient safety guidelines.
• Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment issues promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient care.
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and post-exam instructions when needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and accreditation standards.
