JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse  – NICU

LOCATION: Bronx, NY 10466

SHIFT: Nights | 12 Hours

HOURS: 36 Hours/Week

JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III or higher NICU. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based neonatal care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns.
  • Assess, monitor, and document neonatal patient conditions.
  • Implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitor vital signs, respiratory status, and changes in patient condition.
  • Respond appropriately to neonatal emergencies and changes in clinical status.
  • Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
  • Provide family education and support regarding neonatal care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
  • Level III or higher NICU experience required
  • NRP Certification required
  • BLS Certification required
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Infection control training required
