💊 Pharmacist Opportunity – Northern Cheyenne Service Unit

📍 Location: Northern Cheyenne Service Unit
💼 Position: Pharmacist
🕐 Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts
📅 Days: Monday – Friday
⏰ 40 hours/week

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacist license
• Current BLS certification
• Hospital/clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong medication management and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely in accordance with physician/provider orders.
• Review prescriptions for appropriate drug selection, dosage, interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
• Provide comprehensive medication therapy management and clinical pharmacy services.
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosing, potential side effects, and adherence.
• Monitor patients for therapeutic effectiveness, adverse drug reactions, and medication-related problems.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, medication profiles, and required documentation.
• Manage medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, and controlled-substance accountability.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, facility policies, and medication-safety standards.
• Support inpatient and/or outpatient pharmacy operations as assigned.
• Participate in medication reconciliation and transitions of care when required.
• Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare providers and staff.
• Assist with quality-improvement, medication-safety, and pharmacy-related initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment while protecting patient confidentiality.
