Description
🏥 Travel MedSurg RN
- 28-bed MedSurg unit
- Day/Night: 6:30–7:00
- BLS required | ACLS preferred
- Ratios: Days 1:4 | Nights 1:5
- Adult & geriatric patients
- 50-mile radius rule
- Must be open to floating to ER for 1:1 sit
- No block scheduling
- Weekend/holiday needs vary
- Navy Blue scrubs
- Classroom + 1 floor orientation shift
- RTO must be submitted upfront (≤7 days)
- Open-book exam during orientation; 90% required to pass

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
