Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Anchorage, AK | 2026–2027 School Year | $38–$50+/hr Local

Ready to take your school-based career to Alaska? PediaStaff is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for the Anchorage area for the 2026–2027 school year! Work with students across a variety of school settings while experiencing everything Alaska has to offer. New grads are welcome!

Job Details

  • Start: ASAP through May 27, 2027
  • September, October, and November starts also welcomed!
  • Full-time: 5 days/week, 7.5 hours per day
  • In-person, school-based
  • Opportunities from elementary through high school
  • Work within a few schools located within a short driving radius
  • Variety of student needs and diagnoses
  • Support students with speech and language services under the supervision of an SLP
  • Implement treatment plans and IEP goals as directed by the supervising SLP

Pay & Travel

  • Local Rate: $38–$50+ per hour
  • Travelers welcome! Please inquire for travel rates
  • Eligible travelers may receive tax-free stipends for housing and meals
  • Travel/relocation assistance available to help you get to Anchorage!

Qualifications

  • Appropriate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
  • Current Alaska SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply!
