Description
Location: The expectation is that PCM is willing to float between all both hospitals, as needed with being at St. Paul PICU at first
• Children's MN at 345 Smith Ave N, St. Paul, MN 55102
• Children's MN at 2525 Chicago Ave, Mpls, MN 55404
Title: Patient Care Manager
Shift: Day/Evening/Night - days with expectation that occasional evening/night work may be needed depending on operational need. Not full shifts on evenings or nights.
Shift Length: Variable
Weekends: Per unit need
Call: Yes
Assignment Length: 18 weeks
Start Date: We would like to have them start as soon as possible.
Requirements: Active RN on Minnesota Board of Nursing required, BLS required, Bachelor's degree in nursing required, 3+ years of people leadership experience or advanced degree in nursing leadership in lieu of experience. Informal leadership experience is preferred (charge RN, clinical educator, preceptor, etc.).
Responsibilities: Responsibility for ensuring that services and programs provided through their assigned department/unit is child and family focused, clinically appropriate, operationally efficient, and achieves effective patient outcomes. The PCM will directly manage RN staff and assist in leadership of clinical support staff.
