Oncology / Med-Surg RN – Travel Contract

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-hour shifts Contract: 90 weeks

Job Description: Ascension Via Christi St. Francis is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care for adult oncology patients in a 35-bed oncology unit. The unit also accepts general medical-surgical overflow, so candidates should be comfortable caring for a mixed patient population.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and Med-Surg patients
Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments as applicable
Monitor patient condition and manage symptoms
Perform assessments, medication administration, and patient education
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

Active RN license
Oncology nursing experience required
Med-Surg experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Nights Contract Length: 90 weeks
