Description

RN – Modified Care Unit / Cardiac Telemetry

Required Skills & Experience:

Cardiac Telemetry Care experience required
Experience caring for diverse patient populations, including:
- MI (Myocardial Infarction)
- CHF (Congestive Heart Failure)
- COPD
- Stroke
- Stable arrhythmias
- Patients requiring closer cardiac monitoring and assessment
Strong knowledge of nursing theory and clinical practice
Ability to provide comprehensive assessment, monitoring, and nursing care to higher-acuity patients
Minimum education equivalent to 2 years at an accredited School of Nursing, qualifying the candidate for RN licensure

Required Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Required Licensure & Certifications:

Current Wisconsin RN License OR multi-state RN license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or approved equivalent
AHA ACLS for Healthcare Providers or approved equivalent
