Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location: Salisbury, NC 28144
Contract Length: 13–26 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Shift Time: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week available
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Traveler Experience: Required; first-time travelers may be considered

Required Clinical Experience

Candidates must have experience with:

• IV starts
• Telemetry monitoring
• Pre- and post-procedure patients
• Cardiac patients
• Cardiac drips
• PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• ACLS required
• BLS/BCLS required
• NIHSS required
• Strong cardiac/telemetry experience
• Experience with cardiac drips and PCI
• Experience with pre- and post-procedure cardiac patients
• Travelers required; first-time travelers may be accepted

Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour Nights
• Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 36 hours/week can be offered
• No block scheduling
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Additionally, 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays are required during each 6-week schedule period

Call & Floating

• Call: Required
• Frequency of call depends on patient census
• Floating: Required

Contract Length

The unit will accept contracts ranging from 13 to 26 weeks.
