Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) with NICU experience for a 13-week contract assignment in Salinas, California. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in occupational therapy and specialized experience working with neonatal patients in a NICU setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to NICU patients based on individual needs and established care plans.
- Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support developmental and functional outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Document patient evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately.
- Educate families and caregivers as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Requirements
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) License – Required
- Minimum 3 years of Occupational Therapy experience
- Minimum 1 year of NICU Occupational Therapy experience
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy – Required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
