CSFA Tech – Job Details

Position: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA Tech)
Certification Required: NBSTSA CSFA Certification
Required Certification: BLS
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Required Surgical Experience:
- Strong Orthopedic experience
- General Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Gynecology
- Urology
- Da Vinci Robotic Surgery
Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Local Candidates: Not accepted
Travel Requirement: Candidate must have a verifiable address at least 50 miles from the facility
Submission Requirement: Cover sheet required at the time of submission

The pay was good and the staff was reasonably supportive.

Cons

The paperwork was sometimes byzantine. They use a version of Epic that is customized to the facility. Someone is always looking over your shoulder and evaluating your fitness for the job. You have to rock that charting!
