MRI Technologist

Position: MRI Technologist
Facility: Olathe Hospital / Olathe Pavilion
Location: Olathe, Kansas
Shift: Evenings – 1:30 PM–10:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
 

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform scans on patients with implanted devices following appropriate safety protocols.
• Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Work with Philips Achieva and other MRI equipment.
• Follow MRI safety procedures and screening requirements.
• Document procedures accurately using Cerner and PACS systems.
• May float between Olathe Hospital and Olathe Pavilion on the same campus.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required.
• Hospital MRI experience required.
• Strong experience with Philips Achieva required.
• Experience scanning patients with implanted devices required.
• ARRT (MR) OR ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS required.
• Experience with Cerner preferred/required per facility workflow.
• Experience with Unity PACS / Interview PACS preferred.
• New graduates not accepted.
