Role: RN – Operating Room (OR) / Perioperative RN
Shift: 10-hour days
Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
On-Call: Nights, weekends, and holidays

📍 Important Distance Requirement

• Candidate must live at least 50 miles away from the facility.
• This is a 50-mile radius rule, so confirm the candidate's permanent address before submission.

📋 Required Experience

• 2 years of acute-care Operating Room experience – REQUIRED
• Do not submit candidates without the required OR experience.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Current RN license in the applicable state/district

🎓 Certifications

Required:

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

BSN: Highly desired, but the posting does not mark it as strictly required.

🏥 OR Responsibilities

The RN will perform scrub and/or circulating duties, including:

• Prepare the operating room for procedures
• Prepare equipment and supplies
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Confirm supplies and implants are available
• Maintain appropriate aseptic/sterile techniques
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and other OR team members
• Communicate with patients and families
• Serve as a communication link between the patient and surgical team
• Manage admissions to the operative suite

• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• 10-hour shifts
• 40 guaranteed hours/week
• Additional on-call responsibility for nights, weekends, and holidays
