Travel RN – ICU | Night Shift

Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Nights – 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Contract: Travel
Floating: Required

Job Description

Seeking an experienced ICU RN with strong critical-care experience. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent ICU experience, with 4–5 years preferred, and prior travel nursing experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have experience caring for complex Neuro/Medical ICU, CTICU, and Surgical/Trauma ICU patients. CRRT and Prismaflex experience is required. Strong cardiac/heart experience is highly preferred, as this is a priority for the hiring manager.

Required Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• 4–5 years of ICU experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• CRRT experience required
• Prismaflex experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred
• Ability to float to other applicable units as needed

Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS

Floating

Floating is required as needed to all units except Behavioral Health and the ER, unless the ER is holding patients.

Submission Requirements

• Updated resume showing 2+ years of ICU experience
• Resume must document travel nursing experience
• Specialty-matched skills checklist
• Current driver’s license with address matching candidate demographics
• Active NY RN license
• All active RN licenses verified through Nursys
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC experience
• RTO must be provided at the time of submission
• Locals accepted — candidates living less than 75 miles are eligible at the local rate
