Description
Job Summary
Pride Health is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations using standard, portable, and specialized equipment. The technologist will provide safe, compassionate patient care and produce high-quality images using digital radiography (DR) technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform adult and pediatric X-ray examinations.
- Operate standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment.
- Perform diagnostic imaging using digital radiography (DR) technology.
- Provide appropriate patient care and ensure patient safety.
- Obtain and evaluate high-quality diagnostic images.
- Follow department protocols and radiation safety procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support imaging needs in hospital and trauma settings.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
- ARRT certification required.
- Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required.
- BLS through AHA required.
- Recent experience with both adult and pediatric X-ray imaging.
- Hospital and trauma experience is required.
Preferred Experience
- Operating Room (OR) imaging experience.
- Orthopedic imaging experience.
- Portable X-ray experience.
- Experience in a high-acuity hospital environment.
