Description

MRI Technologist – Job Description

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Shift: Weekend
Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 50-mile radius
Equipment: 720F MRI
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty

Required Certifications & Qualifications

AHA BLS required
One of the following credentials required:
- ARRT (RT)
- ARRT (MR)
- ARMRIT (MR)
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program or accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program
Cerner experience required

Department & Patient Volume

Provides 24-hour departmental care to:
- Emergency Department (ED) patients
- Inpatients
- Outpatients
Average department volume: 25–30 patients per day
Breast biopsy examinations are performed

Holiday Requirement
Candidates must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3:

Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day

Additionally, candidates must work 1 minor holiday:

Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
New Year’s Eve
