Tell us about the unit(s):

·        Number of Beds - 26

·        Number of Staff – 6-7 RNs scheduled per shift

·        Type of staff:

o   Day Shift –  RN, PCT, Charge Nurse, Clinical Coordinator, Unit Secretary PRN, Tele Tech, Case Managers

o   Night Shift – RN, PCT, Tele Tech, Clinical Coordinator

·        Patient Ratios – Acuity based staffing i.e. 1:1, 1:2, and occasional 1:3

·        Type of equipment – GE Telemetry, Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, Hill-Rom patient beds.

·        EMR - MediTech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·        2 years recent PCU experience

·        Current BLS & ACLS

·        NIHSS

·        IV infusions of Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Milrinone, Cardazem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Lasix

·        IVP Labetalol and Metoprolol

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·        Experience with MediTech

·        Willing to work extra shifts

·        Pre/Post Cardiac Cath recovery

·         Mid Line or PICC Line
