Description
CVOR Surgical Technologist
Candidate Requirement
- Must live 100+ miles away from the facility
Schedule
- Day shifts, Monday–Friday
- 10-hour shifts: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Exact working days will be determined based on unit needs upon arrival
- Call required: 11–12 shifts per month, including weekend call
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of CVOR Surgical Technologist experience
- First and second scrub experience required
- Previous travel assignment experience required
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Current BLS certification
- NBSTSA certification required
Key Skills
- Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience
- First scrub and second scrub responsibilities
- Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures, instruments, equipment, and sterile technique
- Ability to prepare the OR and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
- Strong ability to work effectively in a high-acuity surgical environment
